i think i'm getting old.

seriously.

i chatted with an old friend over coffee the other day, and he made me realize that indeed some things have changed.

he said i'd always had things to do on friday nights, places to go, people to see. nowadays, i'm more than content to just go home, sit my ass down on the couch, and flip channels. or read a good book. or just lie down in bed and stare at nothing.

i know i've always been weird, but i think this ultimate normalcy is "uber" weird.

it's like i suddenly jumped to the 40+ age range. all i need now is a cat...or maybe a mute bird. ha-ha.

or maybe i'm just going mental because my damn laptop isn't fixed yet, i'm finding less spare time to pay all my bills, my cable sucks (destiny pih-tuw!), and my weight's still above a hundred lbs.

in the words of another old friend, 'sucka!' (i mean me, not you, dear reader hehehe).

on the flip side of life as we know it, i just got myself the complete 6 seasons of SATC and 3 seasons of L Word for a bargain price of Php680. Whoopee!

mikhail's also been baptized, the roman shades have now been installed in my bedroom, boxing has resumed, and I got my nephew to understand, say, and do "clap-clap-clap".

what can i say, sometimes i spoil myself silly. Just for kicks. ha-ha. sucka! (hmm...or "old sucka", just to keep in line with the theme of my post haha).

This is me heading out the door to get home, be a couch potato and fall in love with SATC's surreal world all over again.
